Our brave PTO took on the challenge of acquiring, preparing, and selling one thousand hot dogs for the Adeaze concert at the stadium on April 27th. Our families donated the food, and the PTO and teachers cooked hot dogs in the afternoon. In the evening volunteers worked in shifts selling hotdogs, chips, glowsticks, and drinks. It was busy busy busy! We didn't sell all of our hot dogs, but we made about $1200. Yay PTO!
Our Cookie Dough Fundraiser was a success! We raised over $1400.00, and had just about every child at the school involved in the project, which to me is just as important as the money we made. We learned a lot doing this project, and we hope everyone who bought cookies from us loved them!
We've got cookies on the brain here at Ta'iala! The orders for our Cookie Dough Fundraiser have been "rolling" in, and we've got a great cookie crew working day and night. All orders will be done by tomorrow, so it's "crunch" time.
We've got 171 orders of 2 dozen cookies so ... 342 dozen means ... 4,104 cookies!!
It's too late to order cookies, but we'll be selling our extras.
If you'd like to donate to our cookie crew, it would be really "sweet"!
Ms. Temple, for now
